Railway Station Visit

As part of experiential learning, students in Grades II to V visited the Railway Station to gain first-hand knowledge of railway operations and the experience of travelling by train. The students’ excitement was evident, especially among those who had never seen a train up close or taken a train journey.

The students explored the railway station and observed its multiple platforms, trains arriving and departing, and the busy movement of passengers. The Station Master interacted with the students and explained how railway traffic is managed, how trains are regulated, and how signals play an important role in ensuring safe train movement.

The visit was an exciting and informative experience that connected classroom learning with the real world. It helped students understand public transport, railway safety, discipline, responsibility, and the importance of following travel rules.  It was a memorable experience that left students curious, enthusiastic, and eager to learn more about train journeys and the fascinating world of railways.
